Dr. Ajay Kohli is a physician entrepreneur. With a background in technology, entrepreneurship and finance, he enjoys working with innovators to improve healthcare delivery.
Dr. Kohli completed his radiology residency at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He has spearheaded several clinical studies using innovative technological platforms. These include using wearable technology to apply real-time histopathologic analytics during surgical oncology cases. Additionally, he has built two mobile platforms to manage chronic heart failure and streamline care for breast cancer patients and survivors. He was named a ‘40 under 40 Healthcare Innovator’ by MedTech Boston Magazine in 2017.
His current focus is on applications of innovative technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI) technology in healthcare. He has had the unique opportunity to work with healthcare innovators, entrepreneurs and investors from all over the world, giving him key insights to the clinical utility and financial disruptions of AI technology in healthcare.
